I can see the wind!

I accidentally overexposed this timelapse video and to my surprise, it let me see the moving air.

I had been shooting my lawnmower video at f/22, but on this one I opened up the aperture to frame it, and forgot to shut it back down. The scene was backlit, and with the overexposure, the dust and moisture in the air let us see how the wind moves.

I couldn’t see anything of the sort with the naked eye.

JJ in a Tunnel

JJ in a Tunnel

Indoor skydiving is actually a lot harder than jumping out of perfectly good airplanes. I had 25 minutes of accumulated freefall time prior to this. I thought I’d be somewhat decent at it. Boy was I wrong.

Still, I learned A LOT in the 15 minutes I spent with my coach Laticia. Wind tunnels are some of the best tools a skydiver can have and when I’m a gazillionaire, I’m totally building one in my backyard.
